3rd Graders HATE Ronald Reagan
Last week I was looking at some of the work done by the third graders at my school. One particular piece of work caught my eye:

Upon closer examination I found that this student did a project on President Reagan. It's a piece that spans the Gipper's life, starting with an introduction of who Reagan is:

The piece then moves into the biographical aspect of the project, noting Reagan's birth place:

This is where it starts to get great. The student notes that Reagan was a no talent singer and had to take work acting as a result. That's pretty ballsy, especially for being in Texas and all:

The kid doesn't stop there. He then depicts Reagan with hair slicked to the side and a Hitler-style mustache. The kid is clearly trying to express that Ronald Reagan was a fascist. Try to argue with this:

And here's the finish. Reagan is for some reason having fire breathed on him from a dragon while yelling, "Wa, wa, no." Genius. One can only wish for such a cool kid:

It’s nice that you removed the "I Love Ron Reagan" from the first close-up. The Hitler thing is your own projection and the kid saying that Reagan fights dragons... I think you got the wrong message, but by your politics I'm sure you get the wrong message often.
Anyway thanks for the Kedwards image. It came in handy with some digital editing I was doing.
How long until you remove this message?

pretty smart little suckers, aren't they?!!? i believe it was right about third grade that I started to refuse to say the pledge of allegience. (didn't go over so well in catholic school) i guess that's what happens when you spend a significant time of your formative years being raised by a marxist. all of those "progress for labor" meetings did me well.
