Contracts Hypothetical with Dwight Schrute
In Law School

The other day I was asked to come up with a hypothetical using the Uniform Commercial Code. This is what happened:
Dwight Schrute, an employee of the Dunder Mifflin paper company, makes a sale of 120 reams of paper to Scrantonites for Environmental Justice (SEJ) for $600. The warehouse guys downstairs were messing around all day, and were therefore unable to truck the paper to SEJ. Dwight, excited to drive a big truck, delivered the paper himself. However, once he arrived, SEJ informed Dwight that they were canceling the order because the paper is made with a chemical that is dangerous to the environment. Dwight responded by saying, “We use that chemical to grow the beets on my farm that win first prize in the county fair every year.” Without any further explanation to SEJ, Dwight brought the paper back to the warehouse, made a few calls to people on his client list, and resold all of the paper for a sum of $540. Under the UCC, how much money could Dunder Mifflin recover from SEJ?

My non-UCC hypo had to do with a breach of contract case involving Bob the Builder and Mary Madam re the construction of a 25 room brothel.
My UCC hypo dealt with Carl Coca who sells goods to Amy Amped, who wrongfully rejects. He resells to Tony Montana, haha. Coca's notice to resell included pistol whipping Amy, hahaha.
I don't think Raj will use mine.
